About Wageningen
Wageningen, also called ‘the city of life science’, is a perfect city to enjoy your study and student life!
Wageningen received city rights in the year 1263. Old houses, typical properties, and small friendly streets define the scene. Also, Wageningen is known for its important role during the Second World War. In May 1945, the German capitulation was signed in hotel "De Wereld".
In springtime, it’s especially enjoyable down at the two botanical gardens in Wageningen, on the terraces at the market square or close to the river Rhine for a nice barbecue. And during the whole academic year it is great to join activities/excursions or the parties of IxESN Wageningen! You will never get bored!

Alternative Pub Crawl
By now you probably already know most of the pubs in Wageningen. However, there are a lot of pubs which many students don't visit very often. That's why we bring you the alternative pub crawl. An of course there is always reason for a party so don't hesitate to join. More info will follow shortly

Discover Holland: Delft
The reason why the Netherlands still exist: The Delta works! We will visit these important structures at the Haringvliet and we will end our day in Delft for some pottery (Delfs blauw) and beer!
Ticket sale will start Friday in the lunch break at the Forum building!
